Now is the moment I tell you a few more things about me. Depending on what your goal is over here, you might not be interested in all I have to say – and I don’t blame you. So here are a few link to help you skip to what sparks your interest.

*waving akwardly in your direction*

Hi again,

I’m French, born in Franche-Comté in the east of France. When I was 6 years old my family moved to the UK for few years. I got my uniform, learned ‘God Save The Queen’ and was immersed in a new language and culture. I still hold my time there very close to my heart. Even though I was pretty young, these formative years shaped the person I am today.

Fast forward a few years, I got my high school degree and started moving around – which will be a recurring theme. I started my studies in Annecy, in the Alps, then moved to Germany for my Bachelor’s degree. After that, I got in the Strasbourg business school. I studied one year, worked one year, then moved again to Dijon for my final year in apprenticeship. After that, I did a few interviews in London but finally settled in Paris for my first full-time job. After two years, we realised Paris wasn’t for us and my partner and I decided to become digital nomads.

We traveled all over Europe: France, the UK, the Canary Islands, Budapest, Italy (Bologna, Florence and Venice), Gdansk, Athens, Tallinn and Vilnius. After 18 months of living in Airbnbs, we chose to slow down and move to Strasbourg at the end of 2019, just in time for the pandemic!

I strive for constant improvement through creative projects, lots of learning and (soon) travelling the world with my laptop, fuelled by coffee and happy relationships. My job today is to help innovative individuals organically grow their activity on the internet with down-to-earth digital marketing strategies.

While I was abroad, I got used to working remotely with my clients. I know how important communication is in this context. That’s why I set up processes for myself to keep my clients updated and very open communication streams, whether by chat, phone call or emails, to ensure we can work together in an effective way.

Why I chose freelancing?

Before starting working in Paris back in 2016, I spent some time unemployed. While trying to find work, I thought about freelancing and talked a bit about that idea around me. Turns out someone needed help re-vamping their CV and do some copywriting. And that’s what I did, and I created a solo company to do a teeny tiny invoice. That same week, I started my first full-time job in Paris.

I kept freelancing on the side for two years, with a lot of trial and even more errors. In the second year, my business made for 20% of my total income, working at nights and on weekends, sometimes.

Being my own boss is very precious to me: I get to craft a life that works for me. Here’s a list of

  • I am responsible for my income, which is both a great and a not-so-great thing
  • I manage my own time, if I need time off I can take it, if I want to work all night I can too
  • I can take my career wherever my interests take me
  • I choose who I get to work with
  • I decide what trainings or conferences I want to attend

What I believe in

I promise I’ll try not to make this section too cringe, but at the end of the day, it’s our values that bring us together.

  • 🦄 Curiosity is the foundation of the internet.
  • 🍀 Empathy goes a long way.
  • 🍰 There’s enough cake for everyone to get a good slice of it.

What I do when I don’t work

I really love my desk, but there always comes a time where I just need to stop staring at my screen and check out what IRL life has to offer. Here’s what you can expect we talk about if we go off-topic in a meeting – let’s be real, it happens:
🪴 Houseplants – I have ~17 right now, some uncommon, some really fun, some that like to act like true divas!
☕️ Coffee – I basically turn coffee beans into euros.
👩🏻‍🍳 Cooking – I’m a foodie at heart 😋
📓 Journaling – I’ve been a bujo addict for many years, my journal is the first thing I take with me wherever I go.
🎨 Digital art – I really enjoy drawing on my iPad, I even have an Instagram account dedicated to that!
🚲 Biking – I live in the #1 French city for biking – yes, it’s pretty flat.
🥾 Hiking – Long walks in the forests of the Vosges mountains are the best!
🛠 Crafting – If I can’t find something or if shops are closed, I’ll probably just do it myself.
📚 Reading – My Kindle follows me everywhere.
